Bolt Pattern Explained

The Bold Pattern is simply the number of bolts that holds each wheel on.

This ranges from 3 to 6, but most cars have 4 or 5 bolts.

The position of the bolts forms the Bolt Circle. This is usually descrived by the lenght of its diameter (Bolt Circle Dimeter) also referred to as Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD).

In most cases it will not be possible to fit a wheel unless it has a matching bolt pattern.

Converting plates can be found, but are usually for specific cars.
